Job Description:Job Description Job DescriptionThe incumbent will be responsible for the repair, preventive maintenance, modification or construction of various pieces of Company equipment and machinery. The incumbent will effectively perform all duties to keep this equipment operating safely and in compliance with manufacturer and company requirements. He/she will also perform any other duties as assigned by management. QualificationsThe candidate must have training in welding, maintenance, repair or manufacturing. In the absence of a degree in one of these fields, several years of service in a company in this capacity may be considered. Related skills may be part of the candidate’s evaluation. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate a degree of independence in the performance of assigned work.The successful candidate will be qualified in addition to being conscientious, honest, resourceful and available. The evaluation period will not only be based on the candidate’s academic background, but also on his or her work attitude and involvement in the development of the Company.Quality controlLike any good employee, he will have to ensure the quality of the work performed. He will therefore see to it that permanent and complete repairs are made in order to avoid repetitive stoppages.Health and safetyHe is concerned with safety and ensures that his work complies with standards.
